Tucked away behind the West Baden Springs Hotel, The Stables at French Lick Resort is a hidden gem open daily from 9am to 4pm. Home to a total of 27 horses, each one has been meticulously chosen and trained by their experienced stables manager for at least two years.

Within their stable, you’ll find a variety of horses including trail horses that are perfect for exploring the resort’s eight miles of picturesque horseback riding trails. In addition, they have two elegant carriage horses as well as ponies that offer delightful rides for the little ones, creating a memorable and family-friendly experience.

The Stables also boasts a charming gift shop stocked with western-style items and souvenirs, allowing guests to take a piece of the equestrian experience home with them.
