The Dogwood Pedal is a brand new CENTURY RIDE that starts downtown in beautiful Orleans, Indiana at the gazebo and takes cyclists through the best backroads Southern Indiana has to offer. This ride is not for the faint of heart as only the strong will survive!!! Challenge hills include such as Dead Horse Hill plus many more surprises along the way including Tunnelton Tunnel in Lawrence County along with beautiful sights and landmarks such as Gus Grissom Memorial in Spring Mill State Park and Guthrie Mansion just to name a few. Orange County sights include the beautiful West Baden Dome area & Pete Dye Gulf Course area and French Lick Resort & Casino. Included in registration is a meal for every rider and S.A.G. support. Also, a special shirt is included exclusively for Century Riders. All other cyclists will have the option of purchasing a wick away Dogwood Pedal shirt with pre-registration. Shorter distances are available: 10 mile family route, 25, and 50 mile, but keep in mind the 25 mile and 50 mile also offer some challenges and hillwork. This ride is being held in conjunction with the Orleans Dogwood Festival on Saturday, April 22, 2017. Please pre-register and sign in from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. at the gazebo.
