Back by popular demand, returning for a second year, the Orleans Dogwood Festival and Orange County Players are glad to present you a Murder Mystery / Dinner Theater event. On April 27th and 28th, with a possible third performance on May 3rd, we will be performing ”And Then There Was One: A Spoof” by Michael Druce, produced by special arrangements with Pioneer Drama Service Inc., Denver, Colorado. We have a wonderful and funny cast of characters with murder, mystery, and tons of laughter. Under the direction of Richard Vandagrifft, the cast is comprised of actors from all around Orange and Lawrence counties. Bringing you all the fun will be Jodi McGowen, Rob Bridgewater, Michael Magruder, Kat Healey, Ray Robison, Joyce Pearson, Jay Clark, Ronnie, Amanda, and LindsayRoach, Samantha Vandagrifft, Alexx Elliott, and Isabell Shipman. In observance of the upcoming 50th Anniversary of the Orleans Dogwood Festival, festival organizers are excited to announce the addition of a brand new event, a murder mystery dinner show, which has been added to the schedule of Dogwood 50 happenings for 2018.
Orange County Players proudly presents "Murder at the Pie Auction" by Michael Druce and produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc. Denver, Colorado.
Come to the Orleans Wesleyan Church 1463 South Maple Street to try and solve the murder in a delightfully funny mystery to close out the 50tth Dogwood Festival.
The show will be Parade Saturday April 28th and Sunday the 29th.
Doors open at 6:30, the spaghetti dinner will be served at 7 and the show will start shortly after.
Admission will be $10.00 in advance. Sale tickets will be available at the Town Hall shortly.
Oh, and yes, there will be pie to eat and to buy at the auction if you’re not the victim.
Auditions will be held Sunday March 18th from 2-5 at the Orleans Wesleyan Church.
