The soothing twang of guitars, hundreds of books for sale, plump juicy tomatoes and sweet, gooey cinnamon rolls; all the things you'll find on a typical Saturday in Orleans, Indiana at the Orange County HomeGrown Farmer's Market. Amish vendors make a weekly appearance with handmade baskets, farm fresh eggs, and delicious baked goods. For a wonderful down home experience, join us at the Orange County HomeGrown Farmer's Market each Saturday from May through September from 8:00 am to Noon, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in October. Neighbors coming together and enjoying the bounty of harvest is what the HomeGrown Market is all about. Each Saturday morning the Historic Congress Square in Orleans is filled with friendly familiar faces; some offering tasty treats and others showing off their amazing skills. Fun for all ages can be had at this classic happening.
The fun doesn't stop there! Orange County HomeGrown also sets up on the Town Green in French Lick on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. May through September . Offering fresh green beans just picked from the garden as well as homemade goat milk soap and handmade leather jewelry, there is sure to be something intriguing for everyone!
