It's Fall in French Lick!

Posted on 9/28/2018 by Visit French Lick West Baden

Autumn is here and the vibrant hues that fill the trees throughout the hills of Southern Indiana are a must see this season. French Lick West Baden has many ways for you and your family to enjoy the fall scenery.

Fall Foliage Wine Cruises on select weekends and Scenic Nature Cruises on Patoka Lake are both great ways to enjoy the scenery. During a Fall Foliage Wine Cruise, enjoy a relaxing afternoon aboard the Patoka Voyager which includes five to seven tastings, two glasses of your choice and a souvenir wine glass. Experience a Scenic Nature Cruise, a breathtaking tour of Patoka Lake where you'll search for osprey, bald eagles and other wildlife as you cruise the lake in style. Listen to stories from the past and learn about the history of the 26,000-acre man-made lake.

Enjoy the scenery aboard French Lick Scenic Railway, a 1 3/4-hour ride through the hills of Southern Indiana and the Hoosier National Forest. The train will pass lakes, fields, a waterfall, and through the second longest railroad tunnel in the state. Wild West Hold-ups are also a great way to enjoy the scenery. The bandits known as the Lost River Renegades may strike again on the French Lick Express so local marshals are lookin' for brave souls to climb aboard the next train ride to help catch the scoundrels.

For more autumn excitement, join the fun at Wilstem Ranch, during their Animal Fall Fest!
Come and hang out with the Wilstem Roos and Crew this Fall!  Animal Fall Fest includes a bounce house, corn bin, play house, barrel train, and access to the Roos and Crew with mini animal encounters! Wilstem Ranch also has a 4000-ft zip-line canopy tour through the trees, ATV Adventure Tours and horseback rides.

There will be hayrides, s'mores and a pumpkin patch for the kids to enjoy! The fun doesn't stop there!
