West Baden

A small town with a big historical footprint. The centerpiece of this charming community is the iconic West Baden Springs Hotel, a marvel of architecture and luxury that gained fame in the early 20th century. Completed in 1902, the hotel boasted the world's largest free-span dome, an engineering marvel that contributed to its nickname, the "Eighth Wonder of the World."

West Baden, with its unique blend of history and natural beauty, offers a delightful escape for those seeking a tranquil retreat in a setting steeped in both elegance and simplicity.  With its opulent surroundings and mineral springs, it attracted the elite, including celebrities, politicians, and business magnates. Beyond the grandeur of the hotel, West Baden is set against the backdrop of scenic Southern Indiana, with lush landscapes and outdoor recreational opportunities. The town's quaint charm extends beyond the historic hotel, featuring local shops, restaurants, and the West Baden Springs Fire House, a notable historic site.
