Patoka Spring Festival

Join in a celebration of the season at Patoka’s annual Spring Festival on Saturday, April 17th from 10a.m. until 3p.m. Fun activities for all ages include games, barefoot adventures, crafts, displays, live bird of prey, a forest walk and much more at the Patoka Lake Visitor Center.
Recycling information, activities and games provided by Crawford, Dubois & Orange Counties Solid Waste staff. Bring your extra flower & vegetable garden seeds or Rose of Sharon trees or hosta & other plants & shrubs for the Seed Savers & Plant exchange program. Trade in your plentiful items for other seeds of plants. White Pine 3 year seedlings will be available to visitors and participants while supplies last. Fun for all ages includes sidewalk chalk art contest, bean bag toss games, face painting and more. Let's take a stroll and see the wonders of the woods as special guest, DNR forester Janet Eger talks about timber & importance of trees on the Garden Rock Loop Trail. Bring lawn chairs, family and friends. Join in this fun event for outdoor enthusiasts and gardeners of all ages as we recognize & celebrate the season of spring, Earth Day and Arbor Day.
