Job Title: Sales & Content Manager
Reports To: Executive Director

Summary:
Responsible for promoting, following up, assisting and securing group travel and conventions. Is motivated to meet quotas and work with community partners. Reviews and analyzes sales records, uses data to improve sales methods and targets. Identifies opportunities and potential new markets. Responsible for collecting, maintaining and organizing photography, videos and other relative information.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Works hand-in-hand with community partners in relation to group travel and conventions
- Communicating with sales leads, follow-up, and sales pitches
- Provides familiarization tours
- Projects, analyzes and updates sales quotas
- Produce sales packets, information sheets
- Maintains well-informed, working knowledge of the attractions and services in the entire Southern Indiana region available to visitors; highways and transportation systems, public and private attractions and recreation areas, events, weather conditions, accommodations and tourist attractions and acts as a liaison between these entities and the visitor.
- Assists with filling and distributing information packets for industry leads and group information requests.
- Proofreading and copywriting assistance as needed.
- Assists with departmental projects as needed.
- Assists with meet & greet for buses as they arrive at the Visitor Center or in the Destination and serve as a step-on guide as needed.
- Organize, maintain and asses all photography and video content
- Ensure image content is relevant, up-to-date and useable
- Work with photographers and videographers to secure content
- Perform research and development for photography and videography
- Maintains a cohesive working relationship with all other CVB personnel to ensure a unified and effective promotional team effort.
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Management Team.
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and ambassador for the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
- Computer skills with knowledge of necessary software applications (such as Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Suite). Ability to navigate the internet to assist visitors quickly.
- Must be a self starter.
- Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from multiple management staff members.
- Ability to resolve routine problems independently and recognize when problems should be referred to management.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as assigned.
- Personal commitment to excellence, professionalism and demonstrates initiative.

- Maintain a valid and clean driver’s license and vehicle insurance – ability to drive to various locations in personal vehicle if needed.
Job Title: Visitor Center Coordinator

Summary:
Acts as a visitor information concierge & ambassador to all individuals calling or walking into the Visitor Center requesting information about the destination. Responsible for administrative duties related to leisure tourism initiatives, special promotions, and day-to-day visitors center operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists with the distribution of CVB materials (visitors guide, map, etc.) to existing and new locations, bulk shipments (UPS), and welcome centers. Maintains inventory and distribution lists for all CVB materials.
- Provides inventory tracking reports.
- Maintains well-informed, working knowledge of the attractions and services in the entire Southern Indiana region available to visitors; highways and transportation systems, public and private attractions and recreation areas, events, weather conditions, accommodations and tourist attractions and acts as a liaison between these entities and the visitor.
- Ensures that all inquiries from email, mail, walk-in, and telephone receive prompt and courteous responses.
- Ensures the Visitors Center is well maintained and stocked with brochures and other informational materials. Requests updated information or brochures from various venues as needed.
- Assists with filling and distributing information packets for industry leads and group information requests.
- Assists with administrative and clerical duties as requested.
- Maintains overall tidiness of building interior/exterior (sweep porches as needed, trash removal, water plants, etc.)
- Provides daily cleaning to the Visitor Center, office and other areas as requested.
- Proofreading and copywriting assistance as needed.
- Assists with departmental projects as needed.
- Assists with meet & greet for buses as they arrive at the Visitor Center or in the Destination and serve as a step-on guide as needed.
- Provide scheduling of Visitor Center employees
- Maintains a cohesive working relationship with all other CVB personnel to ensure a unified and effective promotional team effort.
